If liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, CREI’s aggregate liability shall not exceed USD $100.

12. Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

Governing Law (Default):
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, U.S., without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Arbitration:
Except where prohibited, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration shall be confidential.

Jurisdiction (Non-Arbitrable Matters):
For matters not subject to arbitration, parties consent to exclusive jurisdiction in courts located in Portland, OR.

EU & Consumer Exceptions:
For users protected under mandatory EU consumer laws, dispute resolution terms apply only to the extent permitted by applicable EU law.


13. Export Compliance & Sanctions

You may not use the Website in violation of U.S. export control, sanctions, or embargo laws. Website access is prohibited where such access is unlawful.


14. Force Majeure

CREI is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, labor disputes, cyberattacks, utility failures, or regulatory changes.


15. Termination

CREI may suspend or terminate access to the Website at any time without notice for conduct inconsistent with these Terms or for security purposes.


16. Children’s Use

The Website is not directed to persons under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children without required parental consent under applicable laws.


17. International Users & Transfers

If you access the Website from outside the U.S., you are responsible for compliance with local laws and acknowledge processing and transfer of data consistent with the Privacy Policy and GDPR transfer mechanisms.


18. Entire Agreement & Severability

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and CREI regarding Website use.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid.


19. No Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.
